We’re thrilled to announce the successful conclusion of Jamboree on the Air (JOTA) 2024, held on the 19th of October!
This year, RSSL hosted 11 stations across the island, giving Scouts and Girl Guides an incredible opportunity to connect with fellow participants both locally and internationally.
For over 40 years, RSSL has been proudly participating in JOTA, and this year was no exception! Our passionate members worked tirelessly to ensure everything ran smoothly, bringing the spirit of amateur radio to life once again.
A huge thank you goes out to all our station operators and volunteers who went the extra mile—quite literally! Whether it was traveling across the country, spending countless hours setting up, or mentoring young operators, your dedication was simply amazing.
A special shout-out to our young first-time operators, who were supported by our experienced members. With them, we can confidently say the future of amateur radio in Sri Lanka is bright!
